Exciting February Updates!

Aloha! Thank you for visiting my blog. I am so grateful to have your support on this wild journey that is music. I wanted to let you know about some exciting upcoming adventures I have coming up on my horizon this February.

First off - I'm super excited to tell you about my new single 'In The Garden' coming out in two weeks on Friday, February 15th!  'In The Garden' is a folk ballad about emotional discovery and coming to terms with reality.

Here is a preview of the album art-

I've lined up weekly shows for this month:

2/3 - Woops Bakery Greenpoint 120 Norman Ave - Brooklyn, NY

2/9 - Bar 20 on Sunset at The Grafton Hotel - Hollywood, CA

2/15 - ‘In The Garden’ Single Release - Streaming Everywhere

2/16 - Hawaii School of Voice Campfire Series - Kailua, HI

2/3 - Woops Bakery Greenpoint 120 Norman Ave - Brooklyn, NY

I hope you can make it to one of my solo acoustic shows above! They are all free and it would be lovely to have you there.

Last but not least...
I'm putting the band back together! Or rather - we are finally becoming a full band. After two shows at the end of the year with brilliant players Idan Morim on Guitar and Guy Paz on the drums, I've decided to add one last element to our line up - a bass player! Get ready for a groovier set, some dancing, swaying, and general rockness. We're getting ready for a big April 3rd - Rockwood Music Hall show for the release of my second single "Free". This also happens to be my sister's birthday - so we are going to celebrate and it should be a great show. Next month I'll announce who this magical third person is to join our team... stay tuned.

I can't wait for the day when I will be commissioned to create my own set design with iridescent flower lights floating around stage intermixed with green plants and dancers in costume who help me to get the crowd movin'. Until then, we are taking baby steps to grow each performance with the band. Having a band is a lot of work and expensive but it is one of the best feelings ever - to play with friends. I am dreaming of playing more art galleries and larger venues this year. You can help me to make this happen! Don't be shy in sharing my posts, bringing your friends to shows and letting me know what you like or don't like. Your feedback helps me tremendously! You can also join my mailing list!

Okay, one last announcement until next month - My first official music video for "In the Garden" will be out in March! This trippy, lo-fi and green-screen video was made by Michael Krammers, another amazing artist friend of mine. Next month I'll dish more about this collaboration and how it came to fruition!

See you at the shows and in the internet-ethers!

All my best,

Courtney
